Originally Posted by candy5171: I am soo glad to finally see that I am not the only one. My story has an added twist. I bought my Xbox for my 10-year old at the end of November 2002 for Christmas. He opened it Christmas morning and had a ball!! The next day we went out and purchased $300 of games and got home & began to play only to find that our Xbox could no longer "recognize" any games at all (not even the ones we had used the day b-4). I got on the phone to MS customer service and was informed that "the good news was it was still under warranty". I had to ship his 2-day old present back to them to be fixed and tell him it should be returned within 2-weeks.....here's where it gets suspicious. When we received our Xbox back from Microsoft two weeks later, enclosed was a note saying they were sorry that they were unable to find anything wrong with our Xbox....that it passed all of their tests & was working just fine (which it was upon return). My immediate response was "typical Microsoft". Now I am having the same problem, only without the "good news" as described earlier. Now they want a cool $100 to fix anything that could possibly be wrong with it. My question is, if they find "nothing" wrong like last time.....do I get my money back?? I am ready to join a class action law suite if you embark on that adventure!! Sincerely, Kimberly Erwin kimerwin@aol.com
You don't have a lawsuit if its not under warranty.
---------------------------------------------- Fletch
