hi everyone I just joined up as my last ditch effort to be able to make this upgrade from vista to 7 work.I've done ever thing possible(support,kb,all creditable advice to the letter and nadda yet my
husband had no proplems on his laptop using same os disc(its good for up to 3 users)There is only barebones left on my laptop from vista but what is needed to run/upgrade but I still get told I need to dump more programs and then the issue reguarding what driver I will be loading onto and not using any that I have even tho they r the only ones that can b used.Inormally would enjoy the challenge but after my 3rd all nighter(honestly it was)I'm abit choked at this puzzle.Any ideas save new laptop and/or buying additional OS instead of the multiload? Thanks for any help and have a great day!

Now you know why I switched to Mac.
One thing that I've learned - never do an upgrade install. Always do a clean install.
