Well, what u want to do first is backup your data. Second, when you run setup, it'll do a "upgrade report" which will list incompatible software. Pay attention to this! Uninstall anything it finds incompatible.
When you run setup it'll ask to connect to the internet to download updated setup files - DO THIS. If you skip this step you could lose all your data, i cant say this strongly enough - DO NOT continue if it doesnt do this step.
