[Help] (.) files on desktop.

I have this (.) file on my desktop and i can't delete it, rename it, or open it with any sort of program.
Does any one know what i can do for deleting this . file or atleast remove it from my desktop?

Last time I had one of these, I had to boot into safe mode to delet it. Try that.
Also, don't double post. (prior poste deleted by admin).
