HELP need Devices for Xp - for laptop

[Tahoma]I had spyware on my laptop....I rebooted my Gateway laptop with the Window's XP Home Edition SP2 that came with it.....But now I have the problem of NO internet - NO sound - I'm missing all of these devices and I have no clue where to find them and get them back on my laptop....
The devices I need:
1. Ethernet Controller
2.Mass storage Controller
3.Multimedia Audio Controller
4.Network Controller
5.PCI Modem
6.Video Controller
7.Video Controller (VGA Compatible)
my laptop is Gateway
Windows XP Home Edition
Version 2002
Service pack 2
Intel (R) Celeron(R) M
processor 1.40GHz
please can someone help me get this figured out before I go crazy!!! [emote|:-S]

Sounds like this spyware/malware/virus has damaged the OS to the point a clean install may be in order.
Hopefully you've backed up your data to CD's/DVD's/ external HD. If not, do it.
Next, use the CD's that came with your computer to do a reinstall. Choose it to completely reformat your HD. Once completed, get a good antivirus (Microsoft Security Essentials is actually a decent antivirus).
