I have a computer that came with Vista on it. I don't like Vista because it takes up a lot of space and is much slower than XP. I have a XP disc that I installed maybe a year ago. Everything worked fine. I was able to find all the drivers I needed. Well I had a problem recently and had to reinstall windows. I couldn't find my XP disc so I installed Vista back on. But I just found my XP disc so I installed XP again. Problem is, it says my video card is a Standard VGA Graphics Adapter. The video card is a Nvidia GeForce GO 6150. I can't get the drivers to install. When I try to install them it says it can't find hardware that matches the drivers and it quits installation. But I know it can work because I got it to work when I installed XP the first time. It drives me crazy because when I scroll the page on the internet it goes slow and skippy. Anyone know how I can get drivers to install and get my computer to recognize it's a Nvidia GeForce GO 6150 and not a Standard VGA Graphics Adapter? THanks.

I believe that these are available only from your notebook's manufacturer as these are morthboard GPU's (integrated into the motherboard). What make/modelof notebook do you have? ---------------------------------------------- Work is for people who don't know how to surf Gateway 15.4" Laptop, Windows Vista Ultimate/Server 2008, Photoshop CS3, Nikon D200
