| I lost my original recovery disks for my compaq presario v6210us and i can not make a restore disk from the restore partition. My question is i just recently bought another HP desktop and was wondering can i use that restore disk and just install the proper drivers for my laptop? |

| Most likely, not. Recovery/restore disks oft times are specific to that type of computer.
