| Here's the problem. I can not get any internet connection to my desktop computer. I know that my cable modem is working because it hooked into wireless router and my laptop can get a perfect signal. Therefore my router is still getting an internet connection. But when i pull up the network and sharing center it says "unidentified network" where it should say sir. I tried disconnecting the network cable that runs from the cable modem to the router and plugging that straight into the desktop and i still don't get a connection. I ran an ipconfig and it gives me a subnet mask but no default gateway and under media state is says media disconnected. Needless to say i'm lost so will someone please help |
