A friend of mine uses Outlook as his mail client whereas I use Outlook Express. Lately when he send me mails with attachments, the following strange effects occur. When I see his mails in Mailwasher, they show an attachment and a relevant file size. When I download them, they take about the time I would expect for their size. When I open the mail in O/E, there is no "Attachment" field at the top of the mail and no sign of the attachment (i.e. if it's a .jpg for example, it does show in the main pane.) Of the group of people he usually sends to, only two of us have this problem. I can send attachments to him with no problem. This has only started happening recently. Any ideas appreciated.

Are you using a regular antivirus program other than Mailwasher? If so, I'd recommend uninstalling Mailwasher. A good AV will deal with any nasties. Mailwasher may be the problem. ---------------------------------------------- Work is for people who don't know how to surf Gateway Performance 700C - P4 1.8gz, 1gig RAM, ATi Radeon 9550; SB Audigy SE; Windows Vista Business, Photoshop CS3, Nikon D200
