I just installed Visual Studio 6.0 (sp 5, not 6) on my Windows XP system. I use Visual C++. Everything is working fine, EXCEPT my breakpoints. No matter where I place my breakpoints, they are never hit. I believe it h@ssomething to do with my project settings, but I cannot figure it out. I've never had this problem before, but I haven't used Visual Studio 6.0 on Windows XP before. When you go to Project->Settings and select the C/C++ tab, for the Category box, select Code Generation. Mine is currently set to Debug Multithreaded DLL for all of the projects in my workspace, and I have confirmed that this is the setting that I am supposed to have. However, when I change this for SOME of the projects, my breakpoints are SOMETIMEsh!t. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think this is a question that could be better answered in one of Microsoft's discussion groups specific to Visual Studio. http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx ---------------------------------------------- Work is for people who don't know how to surf Gateway Performance 700C - P4 1.8gz, 1gig RAM, nVidia 5200; SB Audigy SE; Windows Vista Business, Photoshop CS3, Nikon D200 and D100
