Please help i m in desperate need! [emote|:'(]
My internet connection is not working since i moved into a private accommodation for the past 3 wks.
1. Both the wireless & wired connection popping up a message 'Limited or No connectivity'.
2. There is a connection, both the wired & wireless receiving 100 & 10 Mbps each, but not sending out any bytes.
3. In the command prompt, it showing Media Disconnected for both the wired and wireless connection showing, also showing: -
Ip address - 169.254.80.177
DNS server - Blank
DHCP server - Blank
Default Gateway - Blank
4. The DHCP server is not being able to @ssign a valid ip address to my laptop.
Please suggest something, what to do. One more thing it is working fine in University buildings, both wired and wireless. [emote|:-S]

Chances are that your new ISP identifies you by either a special login or the MAC address of your PC. Contact them for @ssistance in this area.
