According to Xoft, I have a file on my system which they deem a threat: c:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files\setup.inf however, after searching "all files and folder" including the hidden ones, this file is nowhere to be seen. Can anyone tell me of a way to determine whether I have this rogue file on my system or not?

Who/what is Xoft? Google shows a number of different companies (some that look like spyware makers). A inf file is an information file - sometimes used when installing drivers. Did you download something recently? Run a good (note - Norton = NOT good) antivirus/spyware program to determine if it's a real threat or if Xoft is blowing your skirt up. ---------------------------------------------- Work is for people who don't know how to surf Gateway Performance 700C - P4 1.8gz, 1gig RAM, nVidia 5200; SB Audigy SE; Windows Vista Business, Photoshop CS2, Nikon D200 and D100

[/QUOTE] Xoft is supposed to be an antispyware program but it is the only one that detects the apparent threat. I've run scans with Spybot S&D and A2 but neither have detected any threats. Can you suggest any other good programs I could use?
