windows vista home premium doesn't support 64 bit processors, yet i have an amd 64 dual core... what differences does this make? vista ultimate DOES support 64 bit processors. is it worth it to upgrade?

A quick check of Supersite for Windows (http://www.winsupersite.com) indicates that the increased speed and compatability with 64bit applications. That being said, you'll loose the ability to run a number of 32bit applications. One of the biggest problems is that most applications are written for 32bit, and either don't run at all, or at best, well, under a 64bit OS. ---------------------------------------------- Work is for people who don't know how to surf Gateway Performance 700C - P4 1.8gz, 1gig RAM, nVidia 5200; SB Audigy SE; Windows Vista Business, Photoshop CS2, Nikon D200 and D100
