Are you on an admin account?
Go to start > control panel > user accounts. Under your username does it say computer administrator? Have you tried reinstalling/repairing office 97? Office97 should work fine on xp except for some minor issues. Officexp is most compatible. I installed officexp on windows xp and the install only took 5 mins, and didnt require a reboot. I would also check event viewer. Right click my computer > manage > double click event viewer > double click application, post any errors listed. -gosh |
