So this might sound like a low tech kind of question, but something odd h@sstarted happening to my pc. I'm running XP service pack 2 right now. Anyways, I have been trying free up some space on my computer, so I burned a bunch of movie files that have been sitting around doing nothing but take up space to some data DVDs using Sonic RecordNow Data. After the first one was done, I attempted to make another DVD, but the program wouldn't open. I shut my computer down and then turned it back on. The program worked fine and I then proceeded to delete the files. However, whenever I attempt to do anything to 1 of the movies, my cpu usage shoots up to the mid 80%s and only comes back down if I close the folder using the task manager. I have attempted to delete the file but it tells me that it is in use by another program. I have tried cutting it and moving it that way, but nothing happens. I have scanned the folder it is in with Symantec but no viruses are found. I can right click the file but then none of the options show up. My computer works fine if I do not mess with that one file. I just want to get rid of this one stinking file. Any ideas?
