How much RAM does your system have, and how much FREE hard disc space is left? Also, when did this problem start - i.e. after installation of a particular program? If so, which one. ---------------------------------------------- Work is for people who don't know how to surf Gateway Performance 1800 - P4 1.8gz, 1gig RAM, nVidia 5200; SB Live Value; Windows XP Professional, Photoshop CS2, Nikon D200 and D100

VRITUAL MEMORY is located in Hard disk.It is temp memory. It is 1+1/2 i.e one and half times of ram.If your ram is 512MB. Then your Virtual Memory is 512+256=768 (minimum) and 768+768=1536 Maximum. So 1536MB Space is alocated in your C Partition to paging file.i.e Virtual Memory.By general in each partition we can give some vm. This will help us system speed. By this cause some hidden space ocupaid in our partitions.
