I can usually find just about anything by googling, but this one has me stumped, although I see quite a few people with the same problem, nobody seems to be getting an answer.
Here's my problem. I have a computer connected to a router via a wireless card (DI-624 router/D-Link AirPremier card). That works fine. I have the same computer connected to my XBOX via a crossover cable plugged into a 10/100 ethernet adapter. Here's the rub. When both connections are enabled, I cannot access the internet through the wireless card, although it is connected and working fine. Additionally, if any programs like Limewire or a torrent program are open, the downloads continue seemlessly using the wireless connection, although I cannot access the internet. The only was for my internet connect to resume is to disable the wired local area connection. When I do so, my internet connectivity is immediately restored.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
