| First, what AV and spyware programs are you running? Also, you might want to download Advanced Windows Care and try that. If your AV, Spyware and Advanced Windows Care can't deal with the problem, you may be looking at reformatting and reinstalling everything. Be prepared for that. FWIW, IE7, if you download it from MS, is actually very good.
