I've been using IE7 for a few weeks and I have noticed that it does not behave like IE6 when it comes to folders in the favorites list. If you mouseover a folder in IE6 and leave it there for a second the folder will open a submenu and all the links contained in that folder will become accesible, just like start-programs does, and you can click whatever site contained in that submenu. Well it appears this functionality has been removed (at least as a default) in IE7 and I cannot find anywhere that this behavior can be rechecked or added back. To access any links inside a favorites folder, I have to click once on the folder itself and the content links expand BELOW the folder icon (and will remain so until I click the folder again to collapse the contents) I have arranged many...MANY links I have into these sub-menus to keep the list clutter to a minimum and this seems a huge step backwards as it is requiring more clicks to navigate where the elegance of a simple mouseover automatically opened it up before. PLEASE tell me I am simply missing something and I can turn this back on somehow??
