In order to connect two computers together, you need either: 1. a crossover cable - one computer will need to be connected to the internet, and then have a cable to the second. You'll have to set up Internect Connection Sharing (ICS) 2. A router A router is the better bet as routers normally include a hardware firewall. Additionally, you're not dependent upon one computer to be on so the other can access the internet which is what's needed in ICS. ---------------------------------------------- Work is for people who don't know how to surf Gateway Performance 1800 - P4 1.8gz, 512mb RAM, nVidia 5200; SB Live Value; Windows XP Professional, Photoshop CS2, Nikon D200 and D100
