The hardware firewall controls inbound traffic (i.e security can be set to prevent hackers from getting in), where ZoneAlarm will have the advantage of controlling outbound traffic (i.e. allows you to determine which programs can and cannot access the internet. On your router, make sure that MAC filtering is enabled (i.e. only the MAC addresses for your two computers are allowed to access the router/internet) along with WAP2 (if available). Make sure you have ZoneAlarm configured as to which applications do and don't have access to the internet. FWIW, you can never have enough security. ---------------------------------------------- Work is for people who don't know how to surf Gateway Performance 1800 - P4 1.8gz, 512mb RAM, nVidia 5200; SB Live Value; Windows XP Professional, Photoshop CS2, Nikon D200 and D100
