I wish to install 2 WD 100GB HDD's into a RAID array (will be seen as a single 200gb drive) And ABIT's web site posts this link that microsoft has of getting past the 128gb limit by using 48bit addressing :
http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q303/0/13.ASP This is supposedly bound for the XP service pack 1 but apparently this feature is available now. Iv'e used the knowlege base search to no avail. Can anyone help? That discusses this but the link is broken |

You will need to wait for xp sp1, or talk to abit.
You can possibly call microsoft for the hotfix, however since the article is not public, i do not think the hotfix will be given out. But you can try. -gosh This post was last edited by gosh on Wednesday, March 13, 2002 at 04:35. |
