Do i look like compaq support? this is an issue that should be posted on compaq.com's website or you should call them up. Many oem's are putting everything in a hidden partition, so i cant help you. Also some oem's did not put the valueadd folder on the hard drive because of a bug in sysprep. In winxp home, the ntbackup.exe is on the cd, you need to install it to use it.
Call them up and ask how to install ntbackup.

Hey dealth do u know how to read? The original post said, and let me quote, "I don't have a CD". So where is she gonna get this windows xp cd from, her ass?
OEM's ship everything in a hidden partition that you CANNOT access in windows. Also because of a bug in sysprep most oem's dont even include the value add folder.
This is something the OEM needs to help this person with, or this person needs to borrow a real xp cd.
