Do i look like compaq support? this is an issue that should be posted on compaq.com's website or you should call them up. Many oem's are putting everything in a hidden partition, so i cant help you. Also some oem's did not put the valueadd folder on the hard drive because of a bug in sysprep. In winxp home, the ntbackup.exe is on the cd, you need to install it to use it.
Call them up and ask how to install ntbackup. -gosh |

Mean? It's not my fault OEM's screwed up and didnt put ntbackup on the cd, it's not my fault oem's dont send cd's any more. I gave her the info she needed to solve her problem, so why dont u STFU

Hey dealth do u know how to read? The original post said, and let me quote, "I don't have a CD". So where is she gonna get this windows xp cd from, her ass?
OEM's ship everything in a hidden partition that you CANNOT access in windows. Also because of a bug in sysprep most oem's dont even include the value add folder. This is something the OEM needs to help this person with, or this person needs to borrow a real xp cd. -gosh |
