The only change I'd recommend is in your graphics card. The motherboard will support a PCI Express card. I'd strongly recommend getting a nVidia based card over ATi. Part of this is personal experience with ATi - too many cards have crapped out, plus their drivers aren't the best. You didn't mention what size HD - given your appetite for music and videos, go with as large a HD as you can afford. Also, get an external HD to back everything up to. As to which games will run, check www.ntcompatible.com. This is the best site to find out if something will work or not. In my readings, I haven't heard of any particular game issues with Vista. The majority of issues revolve around antivirus/utilities/CD/DVD burning programs. ---------------------------------------------- Work is for people who don't know how to surf Gateway Performance 1800 - P4 1.8gz, 512mb RAM, nVidia 5200; SB Live Value; Windows XP Professional, Photoshop CS2, Nikon D200 and D100

A PCI video card most likely won't support Aero. Chances are the games will run under Vista (best way to find out is to try, and them post your findings at NTCompatible.com) ---------------------------------------------- Work is for people who don't know how to surf Gateway Performance 1800 - P4 1.8gz, 512mb RAM, nVidia 5200; SB Live Value; Windows XP Professional, Photoshop CS2, Nikon D200 and D100
