Sounds like you have the setup b@ss-ackwards. First should be your cable modem. Connect that to the router. Your PC's are then connected to the router. Sounds like you're using Internet Connection Sharing which is counterproductive to having a router. ---------------------------------------------- Work is for people who don't know how to surf Gateway Performance 1800 - P4 1.8gz, 512mb RAM, ATi Radeon 8500; SB Live Value; Windows XP Professional, Photoshop CS, Nikon D2Hs and D100

It sounds like you have the Internet Connection Firewall enabled. SP2 includes some updates that will allow you to customize it's settings so that the computers can "see" each other on the network. Adjust the settings on the ICF. Note that if you want to be able to transfer files between computers, you'll have to enable file sharing on the specified folders for each computer. ---------------------------------------------- Work is for people who don't know how to surf Gateway Performance 1800 - P4 1.8gz, 512mb RAM, ATi Radeon 8500; SB Live Value; Windows XP Professional, Photoshop CS, Nikon D2Hs and D100
