Try this:

When you got the error, the title of the window should say something like 'c:\windows\setuperr.log' could you paste the last 10 lines or so of the log file it mentions? If you can get back into windows 9x, uninstall antivirus, cd burning software, goback, disk partitioning software. Then copy the <cdrom>\i386 folder to c:\i386, restart to safe mode (press f5 once per second), and then go to start > run > type: c:\i386\winnt32 If that doesnt work just reply and ill see what i can do -gosh |
