Ya dont install xp and 2k on the same partition, it's not supported and it's very stupid. Winn4, win2k, and winxp name the computer differently, there's no way around this.
If you look at http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;Q306559 , it says - You have to use a different computer name for each operating system if the computer is on a Windows 2000 or Windows XP secure domain. |
