| First question is, do you want both to be able to connect to the internet? If so, get a router...period. If you want to just connect one to the other, you'll need a crossover cable. Beyond that, run the network setup wizard on each and make sure that you choose the same network name for each (note that each computer will have a separate name, but in order for each to "see" each other, they have to be on the same network) ---------------------------------------------- Work is for people who don't know how to surf Gateway Performance 1800 - P4 1.8gz, 512mb RAM, ATi Radeon 8500; SB Live Value; Windows XP Professional, Photoshop CS, Nikon D2Hs and D100 |
