If I understand what you're saying (hint: better punctuation and grammer would help), you have one computer set up for Internet Connection Sharing, and the other connects to that computer. If this is the case, you should use whats known as a crossover cable to connect one computer to another. The better choice would be to use a router - that is, connect the broadband modem to the router, and then plug in both computers to the router. There are several advantages to this: 1. One computer isn't dependent upon the other for an internet connection 2. The router should have a built in hardware firewall (protects against hacking) 3.
