All winxp setup does is scan your pc for files. If you have a file that is associated with a blocking item, setup will block you until the file is gone.
Warning: this will let you get past setup, however make SURE you uninstalled this. There's a reason it's a hard block. Dont give this info out.
The block info is in <cdrom>:\I386\WIN9XUPG\MIGDB.INF
If you search this file you find:
[HPT366]
HPT366.MPD, PNPID("VEN_1103&DEV_0004")
HPT368.MPD, PNPID("VEN_1103&DEV_0004")
So if you rename/delete those files, setup will continue. Again, do this if your absolutly sure the problem is resolved. If you dont fix the problem and just delete those 2 files, your pc will be fu***d.
