Throw it out the window... FWIW, I just repaired a computer where a program called StopZilla was the culprit. Rather than preventing pop-ups, it apparently opened up a port and allowed the system to be hacked. Cart - remember your training. Did the slowdown start after the installation of a certain program, or after visiting a certain website (i.e. spyware or a trojan), or has it been slow rom the get go. One of the big problems is the celeron processor. It's like a four banger in a Ford F350.
