The best way is to use a wireless router (Netgear makex excellent routers). Your broadband connection (obviously) connects to the router. You can then connect your PC to it, and also your laptop. If you're insistant on connecting the PC via crossover cable, you'll need to run Internet Connection Sharing on both. However, this raises some security concerns. The wireless router will also include a hardware firewall, which is an added advantage. ---------------------------------------------- Work is for people who don't know how to surf Gateway Performance 1800 - P4 1.8gz, 512mb RAM, Nvidia GeForce 5200; SB Live Value; Windows XP Professional, Photoshop CS, Nikon D2H and D100
