WinXP and Win2000 go well beyond "better looking icons" and "more features". Both utilize NTFS verses FAT32, which is a more robust file system. Additionally Win2000 and WinXP Pro include file encryption, and advanced (and I might add, easier) networking capabilities. Additionally, security is greatly enhanced over Win95/98. As to Win98 being like Win95 - the original Win95 was based on FAT16 (Win95 OEM included support for FAT32). Win98's file system was FAT32. ---------------------------------------------- Work is for people who don't know how to surf Gateway 700C - P4 1.8gz, 512mb RAM, ATi Radeon 8500; SB Live Value; Windows XP Professional, Photoshop CS, Nikon D100
