| How old is the computer? Most computers before 1997 cannot access large drives. If thats the case you need a drive overlay, you load this first, boot to the hard drive, then run setup. |

| You don't need fdisk anymore. Boot from the CD for Windows XP. In the installation you can do all of the formatting and everything for your hard drive. Delete all current partitions on that drive and then create a new one. |
