| Trying to format to NTFS from a boot floppy won't work. You either need the WinXP CD, or running on a network and doing a network install. You noted that your D drive doesn't work and doesn't appear in the BIOS. First, can you post some information on your computer? Second, check your BIOS settings to see if you need to "tell" the BIOS/computer where the CD drive is. Third, check the computer (or motherboard) mfgr to see if there's a BIOS update that will clear up the problem. |
