| Couple of thoughts: 1. Since this is an Athon syst processor, did you get the latest VIA 4 in 1 drivers from HP for the motherboard? 2. Do you have any programs that start up with the computer? If so, what? i.e. antivirus, system utility programs, etc 3. You might want to get a diagnostic program to see if it can diagnose something (just for kicks, I opened up about five programs, including Photoshop and WMP9 and ran a song, and average CPU usage is 15-20%) ---------------------------------------------- Work is for people who don't know how to surf |
