| I have a feeling it will be successful. I got to play the games hands on at E3, and they are really, really impressive. Project Gotham (a racing game) is very good. |

| It will succeed - but probably be behind both Sony and Nintendo's new Gamecube which is ace. |

| I guess I think differently than most others. I think it will do better than Gamecube, but not as well as PS2. I have always liked Nintendo, but I think they are catering too much to the Pokemon generation right now, and I think XBOX is building up hype for its self as quite the opposite (dark graphics on web site, 'bad' games). I think they XBOX has much much more hype right now in the gaming community, and Microsoft has been able to make themselves seem cool, atleast in my opinion. Maybe I am underestimating the Pokemon, but I don't expect it to be around too much longer. |

| ListerOfSmeg: I know, but I just think they have run their corse. I am definately not ruling them out (I know the part about "I don't expect they'll be around too much longer" may have seamed like that:-) but I think honestly they will go Segas way... maybe not totally out, but definately not in. I know it all has to do with marketing, esp. at this point. I just think there will be a lot more gamers out there they are going to rush out and buy this then there will be for the the GameCube. |

| Well, why don't you ask some kids what they are excited about buying? I asked my little brother (6th grade) and they are pumped about GameCube. They really like the gameboy advance as a controller. Me personally I am going to go for the XBox and trying to get my little bro to do the same (I need someone to trade games with right?) I hope Xbox wins out but we shall see. |

| But the gamecube doesn't have a dvd player. I could see how some families without a dvd player would opt for the xbox over the gamecube because of that. |
