| Meany is right. If you want to see if it's there type attrib c:\boot.ini, from a cmd prompt. If it exists itll show you the attributes. You can make a new boot.ini using bootcfg /rebuild from a cmd prompt or from recovery console. When you start the computer do you get a menu? If you do you're looking at the boot.ini displayed by ntldr. -gosh |
