America is completely dependent on oil. And not just for cars and transportation. For heating homes and businesses, for making PLASTIC which is used just about everywhere (in the mouse you have your hand on right now), not to mention just about everywhere else.
Oil, right now, is almost more important than any other foreign interest we have right now. If the flow of oil stopped tomorrow, this country would grind to a halt opening us up for all sorts of attacks. This post was last edited by daz on Tuesday, November 05, 2002 10:03:43 PM. |
