Originally Posted by geeek: Well does anybody know how to get rid of SYSTEM FILE PROTECTION SO I CAN UNINSTALL
I am unsure if you can as the protection system is there to stop the overwriting and uninstalling of vital system files. I'll look into it. ---------------------------------------------- Byron Hinson ActiveWin: http://www.activewin.com Designer Dream: http://www.designerdream.co.uk

Safe mode has no SFP If you rename the c:\windows\inf folder and restart, you wont have any wfp If you set the registry key SFCDisable youll have no SFP If you use the SFCDisable setting in an unattend file you will have no SFP If you make a batch file thats very quick, usually SFP will miss the changes. -gosh
