One very important question has not been asked - is this copy of xp OEM? Did xp come on your pc preinstalled? If so you HAVE to download a hotfix to fix your problem. Below is the hotfix for you ONLY if this is oem.
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;q308402 If this is NOT oem and you can boot into an administrator account, go to start > run > type: cmd then type this net user administrator password Gosh fixes another one. -gosh |
