If you want your printer problem solved you need to provide more info first. You say your printer is a vpr/matrix 240r VS HP? Or is it a deskjet 694c ??????
Your right though the hp deskjet 694c has inbox drivers. It should work although it probably will lack functionality. You need to post the exact error/problem you get connecting this printer for anyone to help you. Is this parallel or usb printer? Is it multifunction? Is this xp isntall an upgrade or clean install? Have you followed the directions at http://www.hp.com/cposupport/printers/support_doc/bpd09005.html ? -gosh |

You're welcome for the help g3guy. Oh by the way, in the future if you need some help, please take the computer into a shop and they'll charge you $100 to reinstall windows.
