You need to provide a lot more info. Does it hang at 0% scaning for updatses? downloading updates? Have you tried a clean boot? Do you get any errors? Provide more info and yoll get a better response.

You ever notice how threads that i reply in are resolved quick, but threads i ignore get many responses and no answer?
Well anyway here is how to actually solve this problem. -In internet options > connections tab > lan settings, uncheck the 'auto detect settings' -Uninstall any programs like netsonic, webhancer, etc -gosh |
